About the practice
Before transitioning to a career in massage therapy, Emma spent 6 years as a professional aerial performer and coach. Her training included aerial conditioning, deep stretching, weightlifting, yoga, gymnastics, dance, and more. She continues practices of yoga, meditation, and ayurveda, which help her learn and understand how to care for the human body and mind.
Movement, or lack thereof, can affect the muscular and connective tissues of the body. Daily wear and tear from sitting, typing, texting, driving, walking, lifting, running, repetitive motion, posture, stress, and much more can cause imbalances, dysfunction, and pain within the musculoskeletal system.
Massage therapy and bodywork is one way to help the body find balance again and again - along with proper self care, of course! Emma’s goal is to help you reach yours - to be able to live pain-free during both movement and stillness.
